1)Please be advised that color PURPLE is still a UV color and is almost half as bright as any other color...


2) The 5050 SMD Blub has three sections and normally this is used for RGB or MultiColor but in this case we are illuminating all three sections in the same color. Which is why this product is so bright it is thre blubs in one...The MCD figures above is the measurement of just one section of the blub... This 5050 SMD illuminated in such a way makes this product at least two times brighter if not greater than the normal 3528 SMD...

3-M 94 Primer

PREPPED: "To prepare or prime"

Yes, 3-M 94 Primer is the best product on the market to prep the area where you are going to place the Flexible Strip. You will clean (degreaser) the location, you will rub the location with an included Alcohol Pad and one dry you will brush on the 3-M 94 Primer. Let dry for 3 to 5 minutes then secure the Flexible Strip to the location. Please understand that once you place the strip using these products and methods you will have to work at it to remove the strip. Be careful not to get 3-M 94 Primer on a noticiable finished painted or chromed surface. Best product to secure Flexible Strips in place.

Are the LED Bulbs Waterproof?
Just look at the picture below with the BLUE Strip in a vase of water... 
 

Yes. If installed according to the instructions there is absolutely no way that water will affect the performance.

How long will these lights last??
Almost forever... well, 100,000+ hours of light time (that's over 11 years) and for a light bulb that's almost forever. Also, these lights generate no heat and draw about 3 mill amperes each.
